About this product

Built for the home shop: a concentrated carburetor cleaning solution for ultrasonic cleaners that strips varnish, gum and fuel residue from carbs, jets, needles, floats and small engine parts. Cavitation carries the solution into passages no spray can reach, so a 20–30 minute cycle replaces an afternoon of pipe cleaners and aerosol carb spray. Safe on aluminum, brass, copper and steel when used as directed, and one 32 oz bottle makes 50 gallons of working auto parts cleaner solution.

Carburetor Cleaner Solution 32 oz — FAQs

Is this carburetor cleaning solution safe for aluminum carbs?

Yes. The formula is non-corrosive and safe on aluminum, brass, copper and steel at recommended dilutions. Don't leave aluminum parts soaking overnight in any solution, and rinse and dry parts promptly after the cycle.

What ratio should I mix for a dirty carburetor?

Start at 1:250 for routine cleaning. For heavy varnish or baked-on gum, mix as strong as roughly 1:100 and run the tank heated at 50–60°C for 20–30 minutes.

Do I need to disassemble the carburetor first?

Yes — remove rubber gaskets, O-rings, diaphragms and plastic floats first. Ultrasonic cleaning works best on bare metal parts, and rubber components can degrade in any cleaning bath.
